About Us

Elks Lodge 458 has been a cornerstone of Canton, Mississippi life for generations. Sitting on North Liberty Street, this lodge brings together members who share a genuine commitment to their neighbors, not just a membership card. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is one of America's oldest and largest fraternal organizations, and Lodge 458 carries that legacy with real local pride.

Every meeting, every fundraiser, and every community project here is driven by the same four values the Elks have held since 1868: charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity. Members of Lodge 458 have poured countless volunteer hours into Canton-area schools, veterans' programs, and youth initiatives. The lodge's perfect 5-star rating reflects what regulars already know: this is a place where people genuinely show up for each other.

The lodge at 3346 N Liberty St is more than a gathering hall. It's where Canton residents build friendships that outlast any single event, where veterans are honored, and where the next generation learns what civic responsibility actually looks like in practice.

What We Offer

Lodge 458 offers members a full calendar of activities anchored in service and fellowship. Regular lodge meetings keep members connected and informed, while charitable fundraisers throughout the year direct resources straight back into the Canton community. Youth programs supported by the Elks' national initiatives give local kids access to scholarships and leadership opportunities they might not find elsewhere.

The lodge hosts veterans' recognition events that honor those who served, reflecting the Elks' long national commitment to America's military community. Social evenings, holiday gatherings, and member appreciation events fill the calendar and give the lodge its warm, welcoming atmosphere. Community outreach projects, from food drives to school supply donations, are organized through the lodge and carried out by members who live right here in Madison County.

Membership in Lodge 458 also connects you to the broader BPOE national network, opening doors to reciprocal lodge privileges, national scholarships, and a brotherhood that spans the entire country.

A Proud Heritage

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
